The big news is that suddenlyLISTEN has a General Manager! Kathleen Doherty has been working with me (Norm) for the past year, and this year we’ve decided to up the ante and give her a title and some more dough! We work great together, so I’m really excited (and relieved) to work with her! So, we’ve been working together to prep the 2016/17 season  and are getting closer to putting it online. Watch for it, or like our Facebook Page.

If you notice the website is in a bit of disarray, it’s because I’m (slowly) updating it for our brand new series of concerts for 2015/16! Please be patient, I’ll let you know when it’s all finished. For now The Artists page seems up to date, please let me know when you spot a typo!

Happy New Year! I’m taking this short lull in Main Series Concerts to begin planning for next season, and to take some time to get out of town to meet and learn from some of Canada’s new music elite at the Canadian New Music Network Forum in Calgary, from January 23rd to 26th. I’m pretty excited to serve on a panel on Orchestral Programming, and to get to see some old friends, and meet some new ones. I’ll be blogging as I listen and learn, so please watch the sLog page! See you March 29th for Hourglass!
