Actually Following the New Years Resolution...

Okay this is nuts. I've had enough of Judy pointing her index finger at me, saying "you have to blog!"

So here it is.

This morning before the above challenge was made, I went to teach a little hour of cello stuff to some pretty experienced public school teachers. A little intimidating, but one of the instructions was "do some sort of improv thing". So I did, a simple "3 notes, 4 actually, play half the time, now play" sort of thing. It went over great! Like a revelation to some!

I must remember any time you put simple materials in front of listening people, some sort of music will result, and for first timers, it's like magic!

To me it's like magic, which is why I do it so much.
