suddenlyLISTEN Compilation CD

I've had these CDs in boxes on my studio floor for 10 days, and has only now occurred to me to mention them here! Strange, I guess I'm not much into sales.

But that is not the point here! About two years ago I was desperate, as I still am to get some sort of CD out there for you all to hear. I applied to The Nova Scotia Department of Tourism Culture and Heritage, who graciously awarded sL a small sum to assemble a promotional CD, chronicling the past 8 years of suddenlyLISTEN concerts.

It took for ever to get it done, but here it is, great mixing by Rod Sneddon and gorgeous design by Daniel Heikalo, and my favourite pieces from the concerts that we recorded, between 2000 and 2008. I hope you enjoy it, and best of all, it's free! save your money to come to a concert, or read on.....

How can you lay your hands on this beautiful thing? I'm not sure, I think we need a contest, and the first person to come up with an appropriate contest, gets the first (well not really the first, but pretty close to the first. My parents have one, Howard has one, Tim has one) of these CDs!

Once and for all definitive proof that anybody is reading this stuff I write.

The CD sounds great and it brings back memories for me, and really shows the development of the organization, the kinds of shows we have presented and, the quality of music we have always managed to make together. I'm pretty proud of it. You should get one.

If you don't feel like a contest. Keep in mind that sL is in the midst of our donation campaign and every person that gives us a (tax deductible) donation gets one of these beauties!

Oh yeah, in case you are wondering , and many have, the beautiful listener is Daniel's partner Tamara!
