Clare Macdonald is active in the Halifax music community as a percussionist and drum kit player. Her facility with multiple styles has led to work with a diverse list of groups and artists, including Hillsburn, Symphony Nova
Scotia, Ria Mae, WAANTS, Meg Warren, Kim Harris, Catherine MacLellan, and No It’s Fine. Clare studied music at Dalhousie University and is a proud former student of D’Arcy Gray, Tom Roach, and the late Jim Faraday. She also spent a year studying drum kit with Don Vickery at Humber College in Toronto.
