Welcome to the first concert of suddenlyLISTEN’s 21st season! It's great to be back. This concert is an extension of a 4 year collaboration between Norm Adams and Italian cellist Nicola Baroni. In this part of their project together, Fountain School of the Performing Arts has sponsored a week of work with music composition students. As a further extension, they have just returned from Ontario where Norm and Nicola performed in Toronto and at NUMUS in Waterloo, and worked with students at U of Toronto, and Laurier U.

This concert featured premieres of 2 of the FSPA student works, the Canadian premier of a work by di Scipio and an acoustic piece by Jerome Blais, and a Hyper cello piece by Nicola!

The concert will be opened by Halifax's most prolific and creative sound artist, and friend of suddenlyLISTEN, Brandon Auger, an artist who is constantly evolving a unique sound world that he inhabits with all hid might!

Please open your ears, and eyes and be astonished!
